How to Stop Receiving WhatsApp Messages Without Blocking the Sender
There are a few ways to stop receiving WhatsApp messages without blocking the sender. Here are the steps on how to do it.

+ Mute the chat:
Muting a chat will silence notifications for that chat, but the messages will still be delivered. To mute a chat, open it, tap on the three dots in the top right corner, and select "Mute."

Archive the chat: Archiving a chat will hide it from your chat list, but the messages will still be saved. To archive a chat, open it, tap on the three dots in the top right corner, and select "Archive."

Turn off notifications: Turning off notifications for WhatsApp will stop all notifications from the app, including messages. To turn off notifications, go to Settings > Notifications and turn off the switch for WhatsApp.

Use a third-party app: There are a number of third-party apps that can be used to block or filter messages from certain senders. These apps can be a good option if you want more granular control over who can contact you.

Here are some additional things to keep in mind:

  • If you mute a chat, the sender will not be notified that you have muted them.
  • If you archive a chat, the sender will still be able to see that you have archived the chat.
  • If you turn off notifications for WhatsApp, the sender will still be able to send you messages.
  • Third-party apps may not be compatible with all versions of WhatsApp.

Which method you choose will depend on your specific needs and preferences.
