How to Use Nearby Share to Transfer Files from Android to Windows

To use Nearby Share to transfer files from Android to Windows, follow these steps:

  1. On your Android phone, open the Files app.
  2. Select the file or folder that you want to transfer.
  3. Tap the Share icon.
  4. Select Nearby Share.
  5. Your Windows computer should appear in the list of devices. Tap on it to start the transfer.



On your Windows computer, you will see a notification that a file is being shared with you. Click on the Accept button to start the transfer.

The transfer will be completed in a few seconds. Once it is finished, you will see a notification on your Android phone.
