Telegram is a popular messaging app that offers a variety of features, including the ability to restrict group and channel invites. This can be useful if you want to control who can add new members to your groups and channels.
+ Restrict Group and Channel Invites. You can choose who is able to directly add you to groups and channels in your Privacy Settings.
+ Users who are not allowed to add you will be able to send an invite link as a regular message.
To restrict group and channel invites on Telegram, follow these steps:
- Open the Telegram app.
- Tap on the three lines in the top left corner of the screen.
- Select "Settings."
- Scroll down and tap on "Privacy and Security."
- Tap on "Groups and Channels."
- Under "Invite Links," select the option that you want.
The options are:
- Everyone: Anyone can create an invite link for your group or channel.
- My Contacts: Only your contacts can create an invite link for your group or channel.
- Admins Only: Only admins can create an invite link for your group or channel.
