How to Use Partial Selection on Telegram

Telegram is a popular messaging app that offers a variety of features, including partial selection. Partial selection allows you to select a portion of text in a message, which can be useful for copying, pasting, or deleting.


+ Partial Selection Android . Any part of a message can be selected specifically and copied – making it easier to search and share. On Android, press and hold to select a message, then hold again to select text.


+ Partial Selection IOS. You can select any portion of a message to copy or share, instead of only the full text.

To use partial selection on Telegram, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Telegram app.
  2. Go to the chat where the message is located.
  3. Tap and hold on the text that you want to select.
  4. A selection bar will appear.
  5. Drag the selection bar to select the desired text.
  6. Once you have selected the desired text, you can copy it, paste it, or delete it.

You can also use the following keyboard shortcuts to perform partial selection on Telegram:

  • Ctrl+A on Windows and Linux
  • Command+A on macOS
  • Shift+A on Android and iOS

This will select all of the text in the message.

  • Ctrl+Shift+Left or Ctrl+Shift+Right on Windows and Linux
  • Command+Shift+Left or Command+Shift+Right on macOS
  • Arrow Left or Arrow Right on Android and iOS

This will select one word at a time.

  • Ctrl+Alt+Left or Ctrl+Alt+Right on Windows and Linux
  • Command+Option+Left or Command+Option+Right on macOS
  • Shift+Arrow Left or Shift+Arrow Right on Android and iOS

This will select one character at a time.
